On November 5, at the 2022 Huawei Developer Conference payment sub-forum, Huawei Wallet announced that it will go live with the e-stamp function.

According to the introduction, the electronic seal is an extension of the physical seal of units and individuals in the digital world and will meet the needs of consumers for online security authentication, electronic signature and information encryption protection, covering scenarios such as financial transactions, e-government, e-contract signing and identity verification in public life.

Huawei said that with the implementation of the e-stamp, consumers can achieve a more secure and convenient identity authentication experience with just one Huawei cell phone. In addition, by combining the national electronic seal management and service platform of the Third Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security and Huawei’s TEE encryption security technology, it can effectively prevent identity impersonation, SMS hijacking, Trojan phishing and other telecom network frauds.

Huawei wallet has supported the addition of traffic cards, bank cards, campus cards, car keys, door keys, etc.
