Huawei Super Turbo notes performance technology revealed: full use of CPU and GPU performance to reduce power consumption

0

Today, blogger @SeeMountain’s uncle broke the news that Huawei has brought a technology called “Super Turbo” for notebooks, which is borrowed from Huawei’s GPU Turbo on cell phones and optimizes the underlying system of notebooks to better utilize CPU and GPU performance while reducing power consumption and making the system smoother even further.

Previously in 2018, Huawei self-researched GPU Turbo technology, allowing the phone’s GPU performance to be significantly improved, officially claiming a 60% increase in graphics processing efficiency, while achieving greater power savings and ensuring high image quality.

Now Huawei has brought Super Turbo to notebooks. The technology opens up the processing bottleneck between the notebook system and the GPU and CPU, reconfiguring the traditional graphics processing framework at the bottom of the system to achieve software and hardware synergy, allowing the CPU and GPU performance to be fully utilized while also reducing power consumption.

This technology allows for a smoother experience with older notebooks and is worth waiting for.
