In today’s Huawei Mate 50 series and all-scene new fall launch, Huawei launched the Sound Joy cartridge portable speakers in two new colorways: vibrant orange and island blue.
The Huawei Sound Joy speaker supports Bluetooth 5.2, classic codecs like AAC and SBC, has IP67 certification, and claims to be able to be submerged in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.
The speaker is powered by an 8800mAh battery that ensures a 26-hour battery life. It also supports 40W fast charging, which provides one hour of listening time in 10 minutes of charging and takes only three hours to fully charge.
In addition, this is the first portable Bluetooth speaker from Huawei and Devialet, which is 202 mm high, 73 mm in diameter and weighs 680 grams, making it “as easy to carry as a water bottle”.

Huawei says the Sound Joy also features a passive Push-Push membrane that has two diaphragms placed back-to-back for sonic compensation and three microphones that also adjust the sound based on the speaker’s position.
It also supports shake group stereo, mobile one-touch transmission, etc., as well as voice assistant buttons and several other buttons (on/off, voice, play/pause, Bluetooth, etc.), including two for adjusting volume.
