The second generation clamshell folding device from Huawei, the Huawei Pocket S will launch on November 2. The company took to their official Weibo page to drop a teaser of the coming device. The said teaser video did not carry any image or on-hand description of the coming device, hence leaving us with leaks and rendering.
A few weeks ago, we got to see this device in the hands of a user thanks to a post from Huawei CEO Richard Yu. Although the shared image did not highlight the device, we could confirm its existence and make a few observations. One strong observation we could make was that unlike the unofficial renderings of this device, the coming Huawei Pocket S will launch with an external display.

Some specifications of this coming clamshell folding device include the powerful Snapdragon 888 4G processor. Other rumours claim that Huawei will also make provision for a less expensive Pocket S which will use the Snapdragon 778G SoC. We can not make confirmation to the presence of either processor at this point, but, we know that the device will stick to a 4G-enabled processor.
From the use of vibrant and eye-catching colours in the video teaser, we can expect this device to launch with various colour options. Some of the colours to likely be available on this device are black, blue, pink, white, green, and yellow. More specifications of this device will be made available by Huawei as we draw closer to the device launch on November 2.
