Over the past few months, we have got leaks about the coming new generation Huawei P50 Pocket. This will be the second flip foldable device from Huawei and will bear a similar design to its predecessor. No leaked hands-on images show the alleged device in the hands of the Huawei CEO while on a ride in what seems to be the Aito M7.

This coming flip foldable device from Huawei will be a cheaper option in comparison to the P50 Pocket from last year. The previous leaks had it that this coming variant will leave out the external circular screen interface, but that information is inaccurate. As we see from the image our sources made available, the coming flip foldable device will launch with the external circular screen in its original position.

In terms of the overall design, we expect this device to launch with the same trend as its predecessor. Major changes will be obvious in the performance of this coming device, as it will use a less powerful processor. The previous model makes use of a Snapdragon 888 4G processor, while the coming model will use the Snapdragon 778G processor.

The original Huawei P50 Pocket came at a retail price point of $1,045, but the coming version is to launch at a cheaper price. We can’t pinpoint the pricing, launch date, and availability of this coming device, all these information will be made available by Huawei. By cutting down on the price of its flip foldable device, Huawei is aiming for customers in the market that won’t spend $1,000 for a flip smartphone.
