It is noticed that the appearance of Huawei Mate 50, an engineering machine, has not changed much compared to the models on the market. It still uses a large circular camera module, and the lens arrangement remains highly consistent. Only the color matching has changed significantly.

Huawei Mate 50 is available in five colors: Kunlun Xiaguang, Kunlun Dawn, Frost Silver, Obsidian Black, and Streaming Purple. It is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display on the front and supports 90Hz refresh rate and 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The resolution is 2700 × 1224 pixels.

This phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ 4G processor, equipped with a 4460 mAh (typical value) battery, supports 66 W wired fast charging + 50 W wireless fast charging + wireless reverse charging, and has a rear 50-megapixel super optical change camera (F1 .4-F4 aperture), 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (F2.2 aperture), 12-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (F3.4 aperture, OIS optical image stabilization).

It is worth mentioning that this phone supports ten-stop adjustable physical aperture, and it is also the first Huawei phone to support Beidou satellite messaging, which was also a major selling point of the new phone at the time.
