In addition to its smart office products, the Chinese tech giant launched the Huawei IdeaHub S2 smart display. This device is not just a smart projector but a core collaboration tool for schools and establishments. Huawei made this product available during its launch today and will soon put it up for purchase.
Some of the features that this smart projector comes with taking advantage of Huawei’s HarmonyOS 3 and multidevice collaborations. This comes in addition to the 4K camera mounted on top of the Huawei IdeaHub S2 for video conferencing. The intelligent whiteboard also makes the new IdeaHub a great tool for corporate organizations and schools.

The new IdeaHub comes with three size options depending on the needs of any organization. It comes in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 86-inch screen size options (all are 4K resolution screens). All three options come with either a wall mount or a rolling stand option.
This smart screen projector or device is an all-in-one (AIO) meaning that it comes with its processor. Huawei doesn’t specify the exact processor but makes us understand that the new IdeaHub has an 8-core CPU. Along with its processing power, it also comes with 8GB RAM and a 64GB flash storage option for storing files.
Running HarmonyOS the Huawei IdeaHub S2 can as well run windows but will need an OPS plug-in system. For its interface and connectivity, it comes with an HDMI port, 3 USB-A ports, and a USB-C port. Asides from using its ports for connections, the IdeaHub S2 can establish a connection over Wi-Fi 6 using the HarmonyOS collaboration system. When not using a Huawei device, the Wi-Fi 6 connection is made via the IdeaShare app available on Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS.
The availability of Huawei IdeaHub S2 isn’t available yet but will be made available in the coming weeks. Once available, this device will retail via the Huawei official stores or an official reseller. It will be available for purchase in China as well as other markets where Huawei retails. Huawei will make it known once this smart projection device is available for purchase.
