Huawei applies for ‘ADNCHAT’ trademark, expects to brand its self-driving network

A few days ago, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. applied for the registration of 2 “ADNCHAT” trademarks, the international classification were scientific instruments, website services and the status of the application.

Huawei technology limited company’s official website noted, “ADN” is the abbreviation of “automatic driving network”. Officially, it is the core strategy of Huawei’s communication network 2030, claiming that the ultimate goal is to provide the end users of the network with a “zero-waiting, zero-contact, zero-fault” new digital network service experience, and to create a “self-configuration, self-repair, self-optimization” intelligent network and efficient optimization for the network’s operators and maintainers. The goal is to provide end users with a new digital network service experience that is “zero wait, zero-touch, zero failure” and to create a “self-configuring, self-repairing, self-optimizing” intelligent network and efficient operation and maintenance capabilities for network operators.

ADN’s three-layer architecture consists of cloud intelligence, network intelligence and network element intelligence, which work together to realize a self-driving network:

  • Cloud Intelligence: In the cloud, an intelligent platform is constructed by aggregating telecom knowledge assets to achieve data training, model generation and optimization, and will be synchronized to the network layer and network element layer to ensure that it is often used and always new, with the best results.
  • Network Intelligence: In the network control layer, through big data analysis, intelligent algorithms and service APIs, it realizes the automation of business intent, the intelligence of network operation and maintenance, and servitization of network services.
  • Network Element Intelligence: At the device layer, Huawei provides network element-level, short-cycle sensing analysis and reasoning capabilities through embedded lightweight intelligent reasoning frameworks, realizing microsecond-level reasoning capabilities.

Now Huawei will ADN registered trademark, heralding its automatic driving network is expected to realize branding.

Huawei’s high-level intelligent driving system ADS 2.0 was unveiled at this year’s Huawei Intelligent Vehicle Solution Conference. The system is said to be equipped with the industry’s first laser fusion GOD network, to achieve more accurate obstacle identification, even in complex traffic scenes can be safe and smooth. ADS 2.0 optimized high-speed experience, optimized average artificial takeover mileage from 100km to 200km, up and down ramps, channel obstacle avoidance, etc. can be easily dealt with. It is equipped with an NCA Intelligent Driving Pilot, which can cover 90% of the scenes in the urban area, and the official publicity says that “you can drive with or without a map”.

Huawei’s Advanced Driving System (ADS) 2.0 was launched in the AITO M5 Advanced Driving Edition and has been adapted to the entire Avita 11 series and the new Hi edition of the Extreme Fox Alpha S. In addition, the AITO M7 Intelligent Driving Edition has also been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
