HP’s new ZBook FireFly 14 laptop exposure: equipped with R7 PRO 7840HS processor

Geekbench has exposed HP’s new generation of thin and light mobile workstation ZBook FireFly 14 (G10), equipped with R7 PRO 7840HS processor, which is expected to be released soon.

In terms of configuration, Geekbench shows that the R7 PRO 7840HS has 8 cores and 16 threads, and the frequency can reach 5GHz. For comparison, the non-PRO R7 7840HS has a maximum frequency of 5.1 GHz. AMD PRO series processors have more security features and manageability and are usually used in business laptops or mobile workstations.

In terms of running points, the R7 PRO 7840HS scored 1846 points for single core, 10421 points for multi-core, and 34490 points for OpenCL. As a comparison, the R7 6800H has a single-core score of about 1500 points, a multi-core score of more than 9000 points, and a core display OpenCL score of 33000 points.

According to information about this laptop on HP’s overseas official website. This laptop can choose the 13th generation Core or new generation AMD Ryzen PRO processor, the graphics card can choose Nvidia RTX A500, memory can be up to 64GB, SSD can choose 2TB.

The screen is 14 inches 2.5K 120Hz, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

In terms of interfaces, this laptop is equipped with Thunderbolt 4 / USB4, HDMI, USB-A and other interfaces.

According to the news, laptops equipped with AMD Ryzen 7040HS series processors will be available in late April.
