The HP Shadow Elf 8 Pro is a gaming laptop that is coming to certain markets on May 20. This laptop is a version of the 2022 OMEN 16 gaming laptop that just launched. Both devices will sell in different markets around the globe. OMEN 16 will be on sale in the global market, while the Shadow Elf 8 aims for the Chinese market.
The OMEN 16 gaming laptop comes with a few upgrade like improvements to the cooling system and a more powerful graphics card. These features will as well be present on the HP Shadow Elf 8 laptop. Similar to the OMEN 16, this laptop comes with specifications that make it an impressive productivity machine.
The new OMEN game hub that helps balance the power between the CPU and GPU, hence improving performance, will as come with the Shadow laptop. Powering this laptop will be an Intel 12th generation core processor working together with an AMD graphics card. It might as well come with the same options as does the OMEN 16 gaming laptop.
Users will be able to choose between an AMD R9 6900HX processor or an Intel 12th generation processor. Memory on this laptop is up to 32GB RAM and 2TB of SSD storage. The sale of the Shadow Elf 8 laptop might start together with the new OMEN 16 come summer (June to August). The gaming laptop is to retail at $1200 for its highest specification model.
