Hozon Auto to sell more than 150,000 units in 2022, will launch the Neta E coupe in 2023

Hozon Auto today announced in a press release that it will become the first new powerhouse brand to exceed 150,000 units in annual sales in 2022, setting a new record for growth for Chinese auto brands.

In addition, Neta’s S orders exceeded 20,000 units and 120 directly-managed stores. In terms of overseas expansion, Neta has a presence in ASEAN, South Asia and the Middle East.

In 2023, Hozon will launch its two-door, four-seat sports car Neta E. Hozon Auto will also expand into ASEAN, the Middle East, South America and the European Union, implementing its overseas strategy in phases.

In 2022, Hozon Auto cumulative sales of 152,073 units increased 118% year-over-year, making it the first new powerhouse brand to exceed 150,000 units in annual sales, with 3,456 units delivered overseas. By the end of December 2022, Hozon total deliveries reached 248,050 units.

Hozon CEO Zhang Yong announced that the Neta E will be delivered in the first half of 2023 after information such as the declaration map of the new vehicle was revealed. The new vehicle is the second product on the Shanhai platform and is set to be a two-door, four-seat pure electric sports car with a zero-hundred acceleration of around 3 seconds.

The new vehicle will be available in both single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive versions, with a maximum power of 170kW for the front motor and 170kW for the rear motor. In terms of range, the new car will be available in 560km (CLTC, rear-wheel drive) and 580km (CLTC, four-wheel drive) configurations, and there will be a 660km range version in reserve at a later stage.
