Honor will be launching 2 foldable phones at IFA 2023

The whistleblower Ishan Agarwal posted a post saying that Honor will launch two folding phones at IFA 2023, one of which is the Magic V2, and the other has no renderings or leaks for the time being.

It is noticed that the digital blogger @Digital chat station previously revealed that Honor’s new product to be released next is a new foldable phone with a thinner body and a large 2K eye-protecting screen. Next year, Honor will also launch the Magic Flip folding phone and the digital series GT model. In addition, the blogger also revealed in the comment area that Honor will also release a new machine with an LCD display.

It is worth mentioning that the Honor Magic V2 was released in China on July 12 and will be released globally on September 1. The machine is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 leading version + LPDDR5X memory + UFS 4.0 flash memory. The thinnest plain leather version is only 9.9mm, and the thinnest when unfolded is 4.7mm. The thickness of the glass version is 4.8mm when unfolded and 10.1mm when folded.

The external screen of the Honor Magic V2 uses a 6.43-inch 2376×1060 BOE OLED screen with a screen ratio of 20:9, a global maximum brightness of 1500nit, and a peak brightness of 2500nit; the internal screen uses a 7.92-inch 2344×2156 BOE OLED screen with a screen ratio of 9.8:9. The global maximum brightness is 1000nit, and the peak brightness is 1600nit. Both the inner and outer screens support 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 1.07 billion colors, etc.

The machine has a built-in 5000mAh Qinghai Lake battery and supports 66W fast charging; the external screen has a front 16MP lens, the internal screen has a front 16MP lens, and the rear has a 50MP main camera + 50MP ultra-wide-angle + 20MP telephoto (up to 40x zoom).
