Honor Pad X8 Lite model now available on the global website: equipped with a 9.7-inch LCD screen

The Honor Pad 8 debuted in China in July this year, and now it’s rolling out to the global market, Now the company has listed on its website an Honor Pad X8 Lite, which sounds like a cheaper version, and upon further verification, the device comes with a MediaTek Helio G80 chip (MediaTek MT8786, 2×Cortex A75 2.0GHz + 6×Cortex A55 1.8GHz) and a new Android system version.

The Honor Pad X8 Lite Pad comes with a 9.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. On the inside, it uses 32GB of storage, well below the 128GB option that Honor offers for its home users. There’s no mention of RAM, which will hopefully be 4GB.

The back of the device features a 5MP camera with no flash. There’s also a 2MP front-facing camera that supports video calls.

The device is powered by Magic UI 6.1 based on Android S (Android 12). Honor Pad X8 Lite has been certified by TUV Rheinland for its low blue light characteristics.

Other specifications include two large speakers with short sides, a 5100 mAh battery charged via a micro USB port, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac. There is no 3.5 mm jack.

The Honor Pad X8 Lite is listed on the global website in a new mint color, with no information on availability or if an LTE model is available. The Pad device is expected to sell for less than $200.
