“This enhancement, we see as the core strategic investment point for Honor to compete in the global market in the future, and in the future, you can see MagicOS 7.0 in addition to the connectivity capability, the security capability and the wisdom capability.”

Zhao Ming said, “From now on, every 2 or 3 months in the future, we will see Honor’s continuous innovation and products and solutions that can have a strong impact on the industry.”

Zhao Ming said that MagicOS 7.0 will be released in the fourth quarter, and with the release of MagicOS 7.0, Honor will also release a new generation of folding screens at the same time, and in the next three months, new flagships will be released.

In the company’s strategy, Zhao Ming said Honoris still actively developing and its aggressive posture, both in China and the global market, is increasing investment, especially in the field of research and development.

Zhao Ming revealed that the entire company was close to 8,000 people when Honor became independent, and today only the R&D staff is close to 8,000 people, accounting for more than 60%.

“We will continue to increase investment in research and development, and our R & D efficiency I am also very confident that our R & D efficiency in the entire industry is also the highest, I mean the output of each person, Honor or an elite strategy.”

Referring to Honor’s next strategy, Zhao Ming said that Honor will build its own developer ecology around Magic OS in the future, and when MagicOS 7.0 is released, the company will also hold a Honor Developer Conference to open the company’s core capabilities based on MagicOS 7.0 to the industry.

In terms of R&D investment, Zhao Ming said that in terms of R&D investment as a percentage of revenue, Honor is the highest among China’s cell phone manufacturers. “It is much higher than the ones that have been released in the market, at least 1.5 times to 2 times more than them, or even higher.”
