GWM unveils intelligent 4WD electric hybrid technology Hi4

0

Great Wall Motor held a smart new energy dry conference this evening, officially released a new intelligent four-wheel drive electric hybrid technology Hi4.

According to the introduction, the new Hi4 contains two sets of powertrain, system power up to 340kW, covering A-C class models, can provide users with more power options.

Hi4 technology module core components: 1.5L / 1.5T two hybrid-specific engine, can achieve up to 41.5% engineering thermal efficiency, fuel consumption can be reduced by 6-7%; the new Hi4 front drive module assembly, transmission efficiency can be as high as 98%, while achieving no stutter shift and work mode intelligent switching, in addition, the rear drive module assembly motor power up to In addition, the motor power of the rear drive module assembly reaches 150kW, motor efficiency reaches 96.5%, and the low internal resistance power battery with fast charging function can meet more than 100km of pure electric range.

Great Wall Motor said, Hi4 through 3 engine 9 mode dynamic switching, to achieve “the best efficiency of all working conditions, all scenarios driving worry-free”. To achieve “four-wheel drive equivalence for two-wheel drive”, the enjoyment of four-wheel drive, two-wheel drive energy consumption.

New configuration: dual-axis distribution of three power sources

Through the distributed arrangement of dual motors in the front and rear axles, the series-parallel four-wheel-drive electric hybrid architecture is realized, broadening the user's car scenario and allowing travel to be urban and wild.

New breakthrough: iTVC intelligent torque vectoring control system

Relying on the high-precision sensing of the speed by the motor rotation, iTVC rapidly distributes and dynamically adjusts the torque of the front and rear axles with millisecond-level frequency, effectively suppressing the slippage on the low road surface and the tendency of understeering or oversteering when cornering, enhancing the handling stability and driving safety.

New height: electromechanical coupling transmission system

The innovative design of two-speed electromechanical coupling unit realizes the engine direct drive near full speed domain coverage to meet the driving needs of users in all scenarios.

The intelligent new energy dry conference was informed that the first equipped with Hi4 hybrid architecture of the Great Wall Hover car will be released in April, 2024 Great Wall Auto’s entire new energy products will be fully popular four-wheel drive.
