Great Wall Motor’s Haval brand today announced that the Haval H6 plug-in hybrid version ushered in the DHT technology upgrade, to achieve “fuel and electricity double down, range advancement”.

After the upgrade, the Haval H6 plug-in hybrid version supports three modes: pure electric, pure electric priority, and intelligent hybrid. The NEDC comprehensive battery life has increased by up to 74km, and the comprehensive battery life of full fuel and full electricity exceeds 1100km.

In the pure electric mode, the power of the battery pack is higher than the target SOC, the whole motor is driven, and the engine is prohibited from intervening, so it can be driven as a pure electric vehicle. In the pure electric priority mode, the engine intervenes to assist the speed increase during rapid acceleration, and the gasoline and electric dual drive.

In the smart hybrid mode, the vehicle’s power is less than 80%, electricity is used for low-speed working conditions, and oil is used for medium and high-speed working conditions; when the power is higher than 80%, pure electricity is preferred.

It should be noted that the Haval H6 plug-in hybrid upgrade needs to be carried out at Haval authorized dealers, and the upgrade takes 40 minutes to 60 minutes.
