Gurman predicts iPhone 13 mini will be discontinued after Apple’s launch event

Apple launched its first “mini” model – the iPhone 12 mini in 2020 and launched the iPhone 13 mini a year later. However, this poorly received model was eventually replaced by the iPhone 14 Plus last year.

After nearly three years of life, this 5.4-inch small-screen phone may have reached the end of its life.

He believes that this phenomenon indicates that after Tuesday’s launch event, Apple’s last “mini” model will be removed from the shelves and may face a discontinuation of production. If you’re interested in the “mini,” now may be your last chance.

It is worth mentioning that although users are very vocal about small-screen iPhones, actual data shows that mini sales are at the bottom. Research firm CIRP reported last April that the iPhone 13 mini accounted for just 3% of iPhone 13 series models sold in the United States in the first quarter of that year.

Of course, even today there are still many users calling on Apple to retain small-screen phones.
