Google Pixel 8a price revealed: Up by approximately 18% compared to Pixel 7a

PassionateGeekz exposed the price of Google Pixel 8a phone in Canada: 128GB model is 708.99 Canadian dollars (Note: currently about 3736 RMB), 256GB model is 792.99 Canadian dollars (currently about 4179 RMB).

For comparison, the 128GB model of Pixel 7a is $599 Canadian dollars (currently about 3,157 RMB) in Canada. By this calculation, the Pixel 8a is about 18% more expensive than the previous generation, and at $699 Canadian dollars it is also a 16.7% increase.

According to previously exposed information, Google plans to release the Pixel 8a phone at the I/O Developers Conference on May 14 this year. The back of the new phone uses a matte design. Another change is that Google has narrowed the screen borders and further increased the screen-to-body ratio, making it look more comfortable.

In terms of parameters, the Google Pixel 8a phone is equipped with a Tensor G3 chipset, a 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, and the same 64-megapixel + 13-megapixel rear camera system as last year’s phone.

In addition, the Google Pixel 8a phone will be available in four colors: Mint, Porcelain, Obsidian, and Bay.
