Google introduced the Gemini large language model for the Pixel 8 Pro phone in the Feature Drop released in December last year; in a press release issued today, Google announced that in the next Pixel Feature Drop, it will Introducing the Gemini Nano model for Pixel 8 phones.
Google said that after the introduction of the Gemini Nano model, the Pixel 8 phone has initially added two new AI functions. One is the introduction of the Summarize function in the Recorder application, which can summarize recorded conversations, interviews, Demonstrations, etc.
The second AI feature is the introduction of Magic Compose in Messages, which can automatically generate stylized suggested responses based on the context of user messages. Through this function, users can not only generate various new and reply contents, but also request related contents to be rewritten in different styles.
Note: Google’s Pixel Feature Drops are released quarterly, and the company just released an update in March, which means Pixel 8 users will have to wait a while to take advantage of these features.
