YouTube digital channel Front Page Tech anchor Jon Prosser (Jon Prosser) broke the news that Google will launch the Pixel 7a phone on May 10. Another media outlet, 9to5Google, has again revealed that the phone will be priced at $499 (Currently about RMB 3,433).

Google will put the Pixel 7a phone on sale on May 11, the 2nd day of the I/O conference. The phone will be priced at $499, up $50 or 11% from the Pixel 6a launch price.

According to the article, the price increase is mainly related to Google’s upgraded hardware specifications for the Pixel 7a, which will feature a 64-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. For comparison, the Pixel 6a comes with a 12.2-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens.

The Pixel 7a is also the first phone in the series to support wireless charging.
