Pixel 6a’s performance is very good, not only becoming the foreign technology media Android Police “best entry phone” title, in the MKBHD mainstream camera blind test but also overpowering many flagships to win. The Vietnamese Facebook group recently shared a set of photos and hands-on videos of its successor, the Pixel 7a.

Judging from the exposed videos and photos, the design of the Google Pixel 7a is very similar to the Pixel 7 series. The front of the machine is not much different from the Pixel 6a, and the back of the fuselage is similar to the Pixel 7, with two horizontally positioned cameras.

What is more noteworthy during the demonstration is that the Pixel 7a’s screen refresh rate can be set up to 90Hz. The Pixel 6a has been criticized for sticking with a standard 60Hz screen, so it’s good to see Google starting to catch up with some of its rivals on the mid-range model.
