The coming Google Pixel 7 series is to come with support for better audio performance with Bluetooth LE Audio. This new feature will bring higher audio connectivity thanks to the device’s operating system. Among the devices that will gain support for this feature will be the Pixel 7a, 7, and 7 Pro.

The Bluetooth LE Audio feature simply helps audio devices such as earbuds to connect with multiple devices at the same time. This in turn will help a user to get important notifications from other devices when they are connected to another. It also helps to take away the stress of disconnecting and reconnecting to different devices.

In more simple terms, Bluetooth LE Audio helps more than one device to connect to an audio device and seamlessly share audio content. But, the Pixel 7 series will take the support for this feature to a whole new level. At this moment, Android 13 brings support to this feature by default, hence not maximizing the performance of this system.

On its part, the Google Pixel 7 series will support a higher bandwidth than what Android 13 supports by default. This bandwidth is the LC3 audio codec, which is the same that the Bluetooth LE Audio supports. For now, there are not many audio devices that are available that support LC3 audio codec. As more manufacturers launch new audio devices or update existing ones, they will all gain support for this feature.
