Google today updated the iOS version of Chrome, the biggest highlight is to support the user will be a URL or PWA application fixed to the iPhone home screen, easy to open later.
Starting with iOS 16.4, PWA apps on the iPhone can send iOS push notifications to users just like regular apps.
The Chrome 115.0.5790.84 update for iOS is as follows:
- You can now add URLs or progressive web apps to the home screen. Open a web page or progressive web application, tap the “Share” icon in the address bar, and then tap “Add to Home Screen”.
- Translate any text content you want. Select and long press on the text, then tap Google Translate.
- You can use the Google Lens icon on your keyboard to open the camera for searching.
