According to foreign media reports, affected by the decline in demand for consumer electronics products, global semiconductor sales have declined significantly since the second half of last year, and there are still no obvious signs of improvement, and the performance of many manufacturers has been affected.

According to the latest data released by the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), global semiconductor sales continued to decline in February.

According to data from the official website of the Semiconductor Industry Association, global semiconductor sales in February were 39.7 billion U.S. dollars (currently about 273.136 billion CNY), compared with 50 billion U.S. dollars in the same period last year (currently about 344 billion CNY). decreased by US$10.3 billion (currently about 70.864 billion CNY), a year-on-year decrease of 20.7%; compared with the previous month’s US$41.3 billion (currently about 284.144 billion CNY), it also decreased. A quarter-on-quarter decline of 4%.

John Neuffer, president and CEO of the Semiconductor Industry Association, revealed that after the chain continued to decline in February, global semiconductor sales declined for six consecutive months.

For the semiconductor industry, John Neuffer said that short-term market cyclicality and changes in macroeconomic conditions have led to cooling sales, but thanks to the growth in demand in a series of end markets, the medium and long-term prospects of the semiconductor market are still bright.
