Peripheral brand Genesis has just launched a new PC case, the Irid 505F, priced at $74.99 (about $519).
The case is based on the existing Irid 505 v2 design with a few tweaks, featuring five 120mm Genesis Oxal fans and a maximum RPM of 1300.
In addition, the new model comes with a thicker front screen than the existing Irid 505 model, with an opening of less than 0.8 mm. They have a smaller diameter than the standard-size dust screen, which means better filtration.
The IRID 505F has better ventilation efficiency, provides 500 W of cooling, supports ATX power supplies up to 190 mm and graphics cards up to 165 x 380 mm, and offers seven 2.5″ (SSD / HDD) hard drives and two 3.5″ (SSD / HDD) hard drives. In addition, the case includes two splitters to distribute power to the fans on the motherboard.
The case provides USB Typ-A 2.0 x2, USB Typ-A 3.0 x2, etc. ports on the front panel, supports 2x 140 mm fans on the top, 3x 120 mm or 2x 140 mm on the front, and only one 120 mm fan on the back.
