Geely Galaxy L7 orders exceed 10,000 units, car rolls off production line tomorrow

The Geely Galaxy L7, a compact SUV from Geely, was available for pre-order last month, with the first 10,000 users enjoying benefits such as a deposit of RMB 599 against RMB 5,999 and priority pick-up, and the new car is expected to be officially launched in the second quarter of this year.

Geely has now announced that the pre-order channel for the Galaxy L7 was closed on April 22nd, with over 10,000 blind orders and the first production car due to roll off the production line tomorrow.

The parameters of the car: the Galaxy L7 is based on the e-CMA architecture and is positioned as “the family’s first choice for an intelligent electric hybrid SUV”. The Geely Galaxy L7 features a Galaxy ripple aesthetic design, a closed grille at the front and slightly more aggressive daytime running lights.

The interior of the new car is coloured in black and white, with 10.25-inch full LCD instruments, a 25.6-inch AR-HUD head-up display, a 13.2-inch centre screen with Galaxy N OS system and built-in Snapdragon 8155 chip, and a 16.2-inch entertainment screen in front of the passenger side.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with the new generation Thor electric hybrid system (plug-in hybrid), in which the 1.5T four-cylinder engine has a maximum power of 163 hp, the vehicle accelerates from 0-100km/h in 6.9 seconds, has a fuel consumption of 5.23L/100km at a loss of electricity and has a range of 1,370km under CLTC conditions. The vehicle is also available with both fast and slow charging options.
