Geely Galaxy E8 model starts pre-sale on December 16, positioned as a pure electric flagship

Geely Galaxy announced today that the Galaxy E8 model will start pre-sales on December 16, positioning it as “China’s new generation pure electric flagship”. The first batch of exhibition cars has covered Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing and other countries. 105 stores in 20 cities.

Geely Galaxy E8 has previously appeared at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show. It is the first model of Geely Galaxy’s “Smart Pure Electric E Series” and is built based on Geely Group’s SEA vast architecture. The new car is 5010mm long, 1920mm wide, 1465mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2925mm.

At the previously held 2023 Meizu Autumn Unbounded Ecological Conference, Geely Galaxy E8 officially announced that it will be connected to the Flyme Link mobile phone domain, and will be equipped with “three-finger task transfer” for the first time and support a series of classic functions such as “address transfer to get on the car”.

From the appearance, the Galaxy E8’s headlights show an upward momentum, and the new luminous square matrix logo is placed above the front grille. The side of the body adopts a dynamic fastback design and provides hidden door handles. At the rear, the new car adopts the popular through-type taillights.

In terms of interior, Galaxy E8 is equipped with a 45-inch “8K unbounded smart large screen” with a screen-to-body ratio of 98%; it is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor, with an AI computing power of up to 30TOPS; the co-pilot provides a 180-degree reclining seat, and an executive-level rear Row.

In terms of power, the car is equipped with a high-performance SiC silicon carbide electric drive, supports an ultra-long battery life of 665km, and is equipped with 800V ultra-fast flash charging. The official claims that it can run 180km in 5 minutes after charging, accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 3.49s, and successfully pass the Elk Road at a speed of 82km/h. test.
