GAC Toyota sold 75,500 units in January, with electrified models accounting for 26,423 units

GAC Toyota sold 75,500 units in January, and the sales volume of the three flagships was 29,689 units, of which 8,000 units were sold by Senna, a record high. The sales volume of electrified models was 26,423 units, and the sales volume of intelligent models exceeded 65,000 units.

GAC Toyota’s 2022 data: GAC Toyota will produce 1,009,265 units in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 22.6%; cumulative sales of 1,005,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 21.4%. In 2022, the cumulative sales of electrified models will reach 303,175 units, a year-on-year increase of 55.8%.

GAC Toyota stated that it will release and upgrade 12 dual-engine products in 2023 to realize the intelligent electric hybridization of all TNGA models. The bZ pure electric brand will introduce a new model jointly developed by GAC Group, Toyota and GAC Toyota in the future. In addition, GAC Toyota plans to account for 60% of sales of electrified models in 2025 and 100% in 2035.
