Guangzhou International Auto Show official forum 2022 China – Guangzhou Auto Industry Conference, Guangzhou Automobile Group Chairman Zeng Qinghong delivered a keynote speech entitled “stimulate new dynamic energy, create a new future”.

Zeng Qinghong said that the automotive industry is currently undergoing an unprecedented change in a century, with technological innovation represented by 5G, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence becoming the most important variables affecting the industry as a whole, and the automobile has transformed from a single traditional vehicle to a carrier platform for the integration of advanced travel technology clusters, the convergence and flow of massive and diversified data, and the integration of green energy supply and storage, gradually showing the development trend of low carbonization and intelligence. A new round of industrial change is developing vigorously.

According to Zeng Qinghong, facing deep industrial change, Guangzhou Auto recognized two new opportunities for the development of intelligent network connectivity and low-carbon green, accelerating the “new four” transformation, focusing on building “energy technology ecological carrier” The three ecological carriers are “industry chain ecological carrier” and “industry cluster ecological carrier” to seize the new high ground of intelligent new energy vehicles. We will strive to produce more than 5 million vehicles in 2035 and build a trillion-dollar industrial scale GAC Group with GAC Intelligent Network Link New Energy Industrial Park as the core.

Among them, GAC Group will invest more in the energy ecology field, and plans to invest 80-100 billion by 2025 to establish a vertically integrated new energy industry chain layout of “lithium mine + basic lithium materials production + energy storage and power battery production + charging and switching + energy storage + battery recycling”.
