Recently, the concept and styling design center of GAC Research Institute released the design of the GAC AION Hyper GT, the new car will be unveiled at the 2022 Guangzhou Auto Show, which will open on December 30.

The Hyper GT is born from AEP 3.0, a new generation of the pure electric exclusive platform of ASA, and is the first model of the Hyper series to be equipped with Starling architecture.

In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a streamlined body design with short front and rear overhangs, a low wind resistance design, a streamlined and dynamic front end, and the elimination of the center net design. The new car adopts the gull-wing door opening method, as well as frameless doors, the roof and rear windows, are integrated to form a huge canopy, and the rear has a handsome spoiler. The roof and both sides of the front wings are equipped with 3 LIDAR, and the driver assistance system is expected to perform well in terms of capability.

In terms of power, according to the information obtained, the new car is expected to provide two versions of single-motor and dual-motor models, with the single-motor version accelerating from 0-100km/h in 4.9 seconds and the power parameters of the dual-motor Hyper GT still to be officially announced. In addition, the Hyper GT will also support 480kW super fast charging, as well as the power exchange function.

In September this year, AEP launched the new Hyper (Haoplat) brand, and launched “China’s first supercar” Hyper SSR, with a normal version of 1.286 million yuan and an Ultimate track version of 1.686 million yuan.
