According to reports, Yinpai’s battery has a lifespan of up to 1.5 million kilometers and can be cycled 4,000 times or more. The energy density of the entire package is 146.5Wh/kg. It is said that “the entire package of guns does not catch fire.”

It is learned that GAC Group established Yinpai Battery Company in August 2022 to carry out independent battery industrialization construction, with a total project investment of 10.9 billion RMB; in December 2022, Yinpai, located in the GAC Zhilian New Energy Vehicle Industrial Park, Battery Technology Co., Ltd. has officially started construction and plans to build a 36GWh mass production line by 2025. On September 15 this year, Inpai’s cathode mixing production line successfully completed its first feeding, marking that Inpai Battery Factory has officially entered the equipment commissioning stage.

It is reported that Yinpai Battery’s first product uses GAC’s own lithium iron phosphate technology. In the early stage, it will mainly support Aion and enterprises within the GAC Group to increase the battery market share. In the future, it will actively expand external markets and carry out market-oriented operations.

In addition, at the 21st Guangzhou International Auto Show 2023 on November 17, GAC Group announced that it will implement all-solid-state batteries in vehicles in 2026, and Hyper models will be the first to adopt them.

GAC Aion Laboratory announced the completion of the experimental verification of the interface modification technology of solid-state batteries and announced a new technological breakthrough. This technology will reduce the life decay of solid-state batteries by 50% and maintain battery capacity above 90% after 150 cycles.
