G.SKILL Launches DDR5-8000 CL38 48GB (24GBx2) Memory Kit

G.SKILL today introduced the new DDR5-8000 CL38-48-48 48GB (24GBx2) memory kit, which will join the G.SKILL Trident Z5 DDR5 flagship memory series.

Officially, to showcase the superb memory overclocking performance of the 13th Core and Z790 platforms, G.SKILL has successfully overclocked a single 24GB module kit to the extreme high specification of DDR5-8000 CL38 48GB (24GBx2). Officially tested with the i9-13900K processor and ROG MAXIMUS Z790 Apex motherboard, the AIDA64 data shows a read speed of 123.76GB/s, a write speed of 120.75GB/s, and a copy speed of 118.02GB/s.

The overclocking specifications have been introduced with Intel XMP 3.0 overclocking technology, users only need to enable the XMP function in the motherboard BIOS and equip the matching motherboard and CPU to run the memory at the officially stated overclocking speed.

G.SKILL said the kits are expected to be available in April.
