Fujifilm X-S20 camera new information: still using the old 26-megapixel CMOS

According to Fujirumors news, Fuji’s upcoming X-S20 camera still uses the old 26-megapixel CMOS, the same sensor as the X-T4 and X-T3.

This news may disappoint many Fujifilm fans, as the X-S20, which offers a better price/performance ratio, does not use either the X-H2’s back-illuminated 40.2-megapixel “X-Trans CMOS 5 HR” sensor or the X-H2s’ 26.16 megapixels stacked “X- Trans CMOS 5 HS” sensor of the X-H2s.

Although the X-S20 does not use the latest sensor, it is likely to use the “X-Processor 5” processor, which is twice as fast as the current model, so it can also bring some performance improvements.

In addition, it was previously announced that the Fujifilm X-S20 camera will be powered by the same NP-W235 battery as the X-T4, which has a larger capacity compared to the X-S10.

Fuji is expected to launch the X-S20 camera at a launch event in May.
