Recently, Fuji officially announced the X-H2, the latest flagship mirrorless camera in the X series, becoming the world’s first APS-C format digital camera to exceed 40 megapixels. The camera is equipped with a new back-illuminated 40.2 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor and a high-speed X-Processor 5 processor.

The Fujifilm X-H2 has a minimum sensitivity of ISO 125, an electronic shutter speed of up to 1/180,000 seconds, built-in body 5-axis stabilization that supports 7 stops of shutter compensation, and is the first model in the Fujifilm X series to have a pixel-shift shooting function that can generate approximately 160 million pixels of images by recording 20 frames in a single shutter.

For video, the Fujifilm X-H2 is the first APS-C format camera to support 8K/30P Apple ProRes internal recording. It supports internal recording of 8K 30p video with 4:2:2 10bit color depth and 4K video with 8 oversampling for up to about 160 minutes of 8K/30P video.

Here’s a look at the official Fujifilm X-H2 sample shots.
