Foton Motor announced the production and sales data of various products in April. The total sales of automobile products were 51,025 units, a year-on-year increase of 70.02%, and the output was 47,091 units. Among them, 2316 new energy vehicles were sold and 2397 were produced.
From January to April, the cumulative number of cars sold was 211,262, a year-on-year increase of 24.25%; the output was 196,898 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 17.91%. From January to April, the sales volume of new energy vehicles was 9,312, a year-on-year increase of 134.91%; the output was 8,940, a year-on-year increase of 77.21%.
Foton Motor delivered the first batch of 200 Omar Kezhilan new energy light trucks on April 27, and also signed a strategic cooperation for the purchase of 500 units, and signed a strategic cooperation for the overall rental and purchase of 1,800 units in 2023 protocol.
On April 13, Foton Motor Group held the “2023 Global Co-Creator Conference” in Beijing, setting a sales target of 150,000 vehicles overseas in 2025. At present, Foton Motor has established an international management system for a full range of commercial vehicle products, including more than 1,200 sales and service networks, and more than 20 overseas KD factories.
