Fossil announced its next generation of hybrid smartwatches for those who prefer both a more classic look and some of the smart features of modern smartwatches, Fossil’s sixth-generation hybrid smartwatch adds more technology to the hardware. The Fossil 6 includes two designs, named Machine and Stella, with the former having a 45mm case size and a bezel that is textured and available in black, smoke, and silver finishes, while the Stella offers a smaller 40.5mm case in more feminine colorways including rose gold, silver, and two-tone.

The two watches are available with interchangeable straps in different materials (18mm and 24mm respectively), including triple chain metal and classic leather or silicone straps.

In addition to two weeks of battery life and physical hands, the Fossil 6 supports sleep and step tracking, notification alerts, customizable dials, continuous heart rate and workout monitoring, and the 6th generation hybrid now supports SpO2 health tracking. In addition, new features include a built-in microphone with support for Amazon Alexa.

In addition, Fossil has released a redesigned smartwatch companion app for Android and iOS with better personalization options and a more comprehensive fitness data dashboard. The newly developed app can also be used with older Fossil Hybrid smartwatches.

The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid will be available June 27 at Fossil.com or Fossil retail stores for $229, or $249 for the model with the metal band option.
