“Forza Motorsport” will be released on October 10 this year, and the latest news confirms that the game no longer includes split-screen or spectator modes.

During the Forza Monthly stream event today, Turn 10 creative director Chris Esaki said (the video starts at 24:13), saying: “Switching players to spectator mode in a multiplayer game? That’s not what we want Contest”.

Chris Esaki also said that due to the potential impact on safety ratings, there will be no AI drivers in multiplayer races either.

Chris Esaki said that the new game has undergone major reforms in terms of graphics functions and rendering engines, which means that it is difficult to achieve split-screen, and it will not be launched in the future.

Note: “Forza Motorsport” will land on Xbox/Steam on October 10, 2023, and join the XGP subscription for the first time.

This work is the eighth mainline game of the “Forza Motorsport” series. The development team has previously stated that this work is completely built from scratch for the next-generation Xbox Series console and will bring a new gaming experience.
