First 17.3-inch 3K with fish screen, bloggers get first crack at new Lenovo ThinkBook Plus

Earlier this year, Lenovo released the ThinkBook Plus G3 notebook, featuring a 17.3-inch 21:10 ratio 3K screen, which is not yet available in China.

Now, blogger “Ola Pig Wang” has gotten his hands on the product first, which means the ThinkBook Plus G3 will be available for sale soon.

The blogger, who got the ThinkBook Plus G3 in person, said the notebook has a premium feel.

The ThinkBook Plus G3 will be available with i5-12500H and i7-12700H processors, a core graphics configuration, 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5-4800 memory, and SSD support for PCIe 4.0.

The main screen is a 17.3-inch IPS screen with a 21:10 ratio, 3072×1440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, and touch control support. The secondary screen on the C side is an 8-inch IPS screen with 10:16 ratio, 800×1280 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 350 nits brightness, 60% NTSC color gamut, and touch support.

The notebook measures 410.9 x 230.2 x 17.95 mm, weighs less than 2kg, and has ports including Thunderbolt 4, full-featured USB-C, HDMI, and more.

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 was originally scheduled to be available in May of this year, starting at $1,399 (about $8911.63).
