Firefox ushered in the version 107.0.1 update, bringing a number of fixes and improvements.

  • Fixes an issue with reliable access to certain sites in private browsing mode or strict ETP due to an anti-adblocker (bug 1717806).
  • Fixed an issue with color management not working for some users (bug 1799391).
  • Fixed an issue with overlapping text in some regional settings menus (bug 1800379).
  • Fixes an incompatibility with the new Windows 11 22H2 suggested actions feature that caused a hang when copying phone number links (bug 1798098).
  • Fixes an issue that prevents access to the DevTools UI when displaying a warning dialog (bug 1801840).

Firefox 107, a major update released on November 15, mainly fixes several security issues in the browser and improves performance on Windows 11 22H2, and also supports power consumption analysis for Linux and Mac users, with few changes overall.

In addition, Mozilla has rolled out a beta version of Firefox 108, the Firefox browser, to Beta channel users with WebMIDI enabled by default. WebMIDI is an API designed to provide MIDI support for web browsers, making it easier for musicians to interact with music on the web.
