According to the Legal Daily, a female anchor in the live broadcast, someone claiming to be an adult, gave her a monthly cost of 198 yuan to open the “captain”. The anchorwoman immediately mailed the “captain” hand-painted greeting cards, seals, pendants and other 8 kinds of gifts, the other party received a refund application for minors.
There are many anchors who claim to have received refund applications from minors, involving amounts ranging from a few dollars to more than 100,000 yuan, and even some anchors received several large refunds initiated by the same minor.
The investigation found that behind the minors’ refunds, some were malicious refunds from adults disguised as minors in order to take advantage of the anchor’s benefits, and then resell the gifts sent by the anchor for profit.
