The FAW BYD power battery project has a total investment of 13.5 billion yuan, covers an area of 800,000 square meters, and has a total production capacity of 45GWh. After it is completed and put into production, it can meet the configuration needs of 600,000 electric vehicles every year.
It is obtained from Jilin Daily that the main body of the FAW BYD New Energy Power Battery Project has been capped and is in the stage of decoration and road construction in the factory area. Among them, 60% of the decoration has been completed, and 70% of the roads in the factory area have been completed. The dormitory building originally planned to be delivered on August 30 is speeding up the construction progress and is expected to be completed 30 days ahead of schedule. The other monoliths were delivered on August 30.
It is understood that the second phase of the first phase of the FAW BYD new energy power battery project undertaken by the China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau involves nearly 30 individual buildings with various functions, including factories, office buildings, employee activity centers and dormitory buildings, with a total construction area of about 155,200 square meters. The project will start in September 2022 with a total construction period of 344 days. After completion, blade power batteries will be produced.
