There have been rumors that the Google Pixel Watch would have thick bezels, and this leaked image gives us the clearest look yet. It looks like it takes up nearly 10mm of the rumored 41mm diameter case. For the most part, Wear OS 3 does a good job of hiding the black ring and making it look like it’s part of the display, but sometimes specific menus can make the bezel very visible.
The image was leaked by Japanese retailer Joshin and shared on Twitter by Roland Quandt of WinFuture.
After being announced at I/O in May, details of the Pixel Watch’s specs, images, features and interchangeable bands kept getting leaked ahead of its full unveiling at the Pixel conference on Thursday. Now, all Google has to do is officially announce its price and put it up for sale.
In short, the Pixel Watch runs an “improved” version of Wear OS 3, with access to local apps like Google Maps, Assistant, Wallet and Home, as well as integration with Fitbit to view and track health information. The Wi-Fi/Bluetooth-only version is expected to cost $349, or $399 if you want LTE connectivity.
