Faraday Future Announces FF 91 Futurist at CES 2023

Faraday Future announced today that it will return to the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show, which will be held at CES in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 5 to 8, 2023.

Faraday Future said it will showcase the FF 91 Futurist at the Innovusion booth in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, where FF has selected Innovusion’s Falcon lidar system to power the FF 91 Futurist’s autonomous driving system. The system will be integrated into the FF 91 Futurist to provide additional real-time 3D viewing angles and a safe and stable driving experience.

The FF 91 Futurist can even detect pedestrians and small obstacles on the road up to 200 meters away from its path, according to FF data.

Faraday Future says it expects to begin mass production of the saleable FF 91 Futurist electric vehicle by the end of March 2023, with production expected to roll off the production line in early April and delivery by the end of April, provided $150 million to $170 million in funding is available in time and shareholder approval for the increased number of authorized shares is obtained in a timely manner. Most recently, FF entered into a letter of intent to invest with an existing investor in the company to issue and sell $30 million aggregate principal amount of incremental notes, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, including the agreement between the parties on the terms of such notes and related warrants.

According to the presentation, Faraday Future continues to make progress on the final testing and validation of the FF 91 Futurist through the Product and Technology Generation 2.0 (PT Gen 2.0) program. The changeover from PT Gen 1.0 to PT Gen 2.0 includes significant upgrades to the vehicle and I.A.I (Intelligent. Autonomous. Internet) systems, the advanced systems at the heart of the FF 91 Futurist, namely intelligence, autonomous driving and the Internet. PT Gen 2.0 includes upgrades to 26 key systems and components.

The announcement comes on the heels of Faraday Future’s sixth manufacturing milestone, the completion of construction and equipment installation in the vehicle assembly area. the FF 91 Futurist has 1,050 horsepower, an EPA-certified range of 381 miles, and 0-60 acceleration of 2.27 seconds.
