Dutch company Fairphone is known for making repairable phones, these devices are supported by long-term technical support and are at least partially made of ethical materials. A few years ago, Fairphone launched a true wireless headset priced at 100 euros, expanding its business into the field of accessories.
Now it looks like Fairphone will soon expand its audio line with the new Fairbuds XL over-ear wireless headphones.
The upcoming Fairbuds XL headset information appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website. The model is HEAD-1ZW, which supports Bluetooth 5.0 connections with smartphones, PCs and other devices. 260 US dollars.
The Fairphone will be available in a variety of color options, and the preview image shows a pair of green headphones with a padded headband and a few buttons on the side of the headset.
The Fairbuds XL earbuds are expected to be available only in Europe, and so far Fairphone’s phones, earbuds and other products, including phone spare parts, have only been sold in that region.
