Tesla 2022 AI Day was held in Palo Alto, California, with Tesla CEO Elon Musk in attendance. At the beginning of the launch, Bumble C, a humanoid robot without any control cables, a prototype developed by Optimus, came on and waved to the audience.

In order to better demonstrate its technology and design, various parts and wiring are not covered at all.
Although the robot walks slightly clumsy and the design is quite crude, it has been put into use at Tesla to help carry and deliver various objects.
In addition to the Bumble C, Elon Musk also showed the first generation of Optimus robot.

It is reported that the reason why Tesla first let the prototype Bumble-C on stage to show is that Optimus temporarily can not walk independently, but this problem is expected to be solved in the coming weeks.
Optimus’ humanoid shape is based on the human body structure to design, and its hands are also based on human hands to optimize the bionic design.
Elon Musk stressed that the Tesla AI DAY main visual, as well as the trailer of those hands, is the Tesla robot, and is the real shot, not CG. this design means that the Tesla robot will be used more for daily chores, even including household chores.
It is said that the final product will be a streamlined Optimus humanoid robot, Bumble-C on stage just to showcase the technology.
Elon Musk also tweeted the future release that there will be a catwoman-shaped female humanoid robot in the future, leaving a huge amount of room for fans’ imagination.
