EA has canceled an unannounced Titanfall console game

0

EA recently announced that it has cut off the two projects of “Apex Mobile Game” and “Battlefield Mobile Game”.

According to news obtained by Bloomberg, the background of the game is set in the universe of “Titanfall” and “Apex Heroes”, and the core leaders include Mohammad Alavi, a senior developer of “Call of Duty” who left Respawn Entertainment in early 2022. According to the informant, EA is currently looking for new positions for 50 members of the cut game team.

EA has not made any comment on this news. But in today’s dire economic climate, it’s become commonplace for studios to cancel game development plans.

It’s just not good news for fans of “Titanfall”. “Titanfall 2” has been launched for seven years, and now it seems that it may not be able to wait for a sequel in the short term.

Although “Titanfall 2” did not achieve the commercial success that year, its derivative work “Apex Heroes” has successfully reversed and gained a lot of popularity. At present, Respawn Studio is developing and maintaining the game “Apex Heroes”.
