EA Games platform to launch Apple macOS client

0

At the end of the year, EA officially launched its next-generation gaming platform, the EA app for Windows, replacing the original Origin platform.

Today, EA’s official website announced that it will be bringing a new EA client to Apple Mac users, which it says “will soon replace Origin as our primary Mac platform.”

EA says it’s inviting supported Origin players on macOS to try it out. To make the transition to the EA app as easy as possible, when players receive an invitation, all games and content, including previously installed games, will migrate directly to the EA app, and local and cloud data will remain consistent.

The EA app will be available on supported macOS devices soon, and IT Home has not yet checked the exact launch date.
