DJI Mini 4 Pro Drone launched: Supports omnidirectional active obstacle avoidance

Today DJI released a new drone Mini 4 Pro, which uses a 1/1.3-inch 48-megapixel sensor and supports 4K60P HDR video and 4K100P slow-motion shooting. The DJI Mini 4 Pro ordinary remote control version is priced at 4,788 CNY, the remote control version with screen is priced at 5,988 CNY, the smooth flight package is 6,988 CNY, and the long-life smooth flying package is 7,388 CNY.

According to officials, DJI Mini 4 Pro combines comprehensive imaging capabilities, omnidirectional active obstacle avoidance, omnidirectional intelligent following, and 20-kilometer full-HD image transmission to create the most versatile aerial camera in the DJI Mini series to date.

Mini 4 Pro adopts an ultra-light foldable body design, making it lightweight and portable. And weighing less than 249 grams, it can take off without any training or exams in most countries/regions.

Mini 4 Pro is equipped with a 1/1.3-inch image sensor that supports dual native ISO fusion, f/1.7 large aperture and 2.4μm four-in-one large pixels. It supports shooting 4K/60fps HDR and 4K/100fps video, as well as 10-bit D-Log M and HLG color modes. It supports high-quality vertical shooting with a maximum elevation angle of 60° and no cropping. The camera has a maximum zoom of 2x and a maximum zoom of 4x for video.

As the first aerial camera in the DJI Mini series to achieve omnidirectional active obstacle avoidance, the Mini 4 Pro body is equipped with 4 wide-viewing visual sensors and a downward-looking binocular visual sensor, which can accurately detect obstacles in all directions. APAS (Advanced Assisted Flight System) supports both automatic braking and detouring, and can flexibly avoid objects on the flight path.

Mini 4 Pro comes standard with an intelligent flight battery that has a maximum battery life of 34 minutes. In addition, you can also choose the same long-life smart flight battery as the DJI Mini 3 series, with a maximum battery life of up to 45 minutes.

Mini 4 Pro is equipped with the flagship DJI O4 image transmission system, which supports high-definition image transmission up to 20 kilometers. In the face of urban signal interference, forest obstruction and other environments, the signal performance is more stable and reliable. 1080p/60fps full HD image quality makes image transmission smoother and control response more responsive. With the DJI enhanced image transmission module, stable image transmission can still be achieved through the 4G network in severely obscured scenes.

Mini 4 Pro also supports waypoint flight, fixed-speed cruise, advanced smart return, master lens, one-click short video, time-lapse photography, panoramic shooting, and mobile phone fast transmission.
