The DJI Mavic 3 Pro is a new flagship drone, priced at $13,888.

DJI says the Mavic 3 Pro is equipped with a Hasselblad main camera and a dual-focal length telephoto camera, making a new breakthrough in shooting perspectives: the triple camera imaging system further enhances creative efficiency by eliminating the need to change lenses, and the multi-focal length coverage enriches the means of artistic creation and effectively enhances the sense of storytelling in aerial photography.

The Mavic 3 Pro parameters are as follows:

The Mavic 3 Pro’s main camera is still equipped with the L2D-20c camera created by DJI and the legendary Swedish brand Hasselblad, which supports Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS). It features a 4/3 CMOS sensor with a 24mm equivalent focal length, support for 12-bit RAW format photos, up to 5.1K / 50fps video, a native dynamic range of up to 12.8 levels and the addition of 10-bit D-Log M to record up to 1 billion colours.

The Mavic 3 Pro has a new 1/1.3-inch CMOS medium telephoto camera with a 70mm equivalent focal length, 3x optical zoom, support for 4K / 60fps video and up to 48 megapixel photos, and D-Log M colour mode. The 70 mm medium telephoto camera produces a more spatially compressed image than the main wide-angle camera, providing a better account of the subject’s position in relation to its surroundings, making it easier to highlight the subject and create a visual focus in complex environments.

The new 166mm equivalent telephoto camera has been upgraded to provide even greater resolution. With a 1/2″ sensor and an increased aperture of f/3.4, it can shoot 4K/60fps video with 7x optical zoom and 12-megapixel photos with up to 28x hybrid zoom. 166mm telephoto focal length camera allows for localised shots of the subject to create atmosphere and mood. The telephoto camera can also be useful when surveying the scene, with a hybrid zoom of up to 28x, making it safer and more efficient to see the environment without risking flying close.

The Master Edition Mavic 3 Pro Cine also offers creators a wider range of shooting options, with support for Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Apple ProRes 422 and Apple ProRes 422 LT codecs on all three cameras, a built-in 1TB SSD and a 10Gbps high-speed data cable.

With eight vision sensors and a high-performance vision computing engine, the Mavic 3 Pro can detect obstacles in multiple directions and proactively plan safe routes for more comfortable shooting and creation. The DJI O3+ image transmission range is up to 15km, with 1080p / 60fps HD and high frame rate image quality. With the Cellular module, the aircraft can be operated over the 4G network even if the original image transmission signal is blocked or interfered with, enhancing flight safety.

The Mavic 3 Pro lasts up to 43 minutes, so you can plan your route, compose your image and shoot in one take-off without changing the battery. The waypoint function also allows you to recreate precise flight paths that need to be repeated.

The DJI Mavic 3 Pro series is available in four versions, with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro (DJI RC) priced at RMB 13,888. The two flight kits, DJI Mavic 3 Pro (DJI RC) and DJI Mavic 3 Pro (DJI RC Pro), are priced at RMB 17,688 and RMB 21,988 respectively for the different remote controls. The higher-end DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine Master Kit (DJI RC Pro) is priced at RMB 31,688. i
