Distinguish between electric/gasoline/diesel/hybrid Google Maps helps you plan the most fuel/energy efficient route

Distinguishing between pure electric cars, hybrid cars and other types of vehicles, Google Maps will soon expand its fuel-efficient route navigation options. Last fall, Google Maps offered users an eco-friendly route navigation option to help them get to their destinations faster and choose more environmentally friendly travel routes.

However, different models run differently, so the same methods cannot be used to achieve fuel savings. Gasoline vehicles are still very common on U.S. roads, and there are an increasing number of electric and hybrid models, as well as a small number of diesel vehicles. Therefore, the most fuel-efficient routes designed for traditional ICE vehicles may not be applicable to vehicles such as pure electric vehicles.

Google Maps Beta 11.39 includes a requirement for users to enter the type of vehicle they are currently driving. The options include gasoline, diesel, electric and hybrid, and Google Maps will then help you plan the most fuel/energy efficient route.

In the code it says.
